  • Rituals at Vishnu Padam
  • It is one of the ancient and most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu. The temple is located in Gaya, Bihar, India on the bank of the river Phalgu, marked by a footprint of Lord Vishnu known as Dharmasila, incised into a block of basalt. Atop the structure is a 50-kilo gold flag, donated by a devotee, Gayapal Panda Bal Govind Sen.

The Ganges and Yamuna there can be identified by their different colours – the water of the Ganges is clear while that of Yamuna is greenish in colour. The third river, mythical Saraswati, is called invisible.

Person above 65 years of age, persons with comorbidities, pregnant woman and children below the age of 10 years will not allowed for Darshan.

Respiratory etiquettes to be strictly followed. This involves strict practice of covering one’s mouth and nose while coughing/sneezing with a tissue/handkerchief/flexed elbow and disposing off used tissues properly.

No physical offerings like Prasad/distribution or sprinkling of holy water, etc. will be allowed inside the Temple Premises.

Self-monitoring of health by all and reporting any illness at the earliest to state and district helpline.
